Welcome to The Donut Club!

In these terms and conditions of sale, the expressions 'We,' ‘The Company,’ or ‘Company’ refer to The Donut Club, and 'You,' 'The Purchaser,' denotes the company, firm, or person to whom the goods are supplied by the Company under this contract.

By visiting our website and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our ‘services’ and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, also referred to as Terms of Service or Terms. These terms apply to all users of the website, including, without limitation, users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, or contributors of content.

This website is hosted by Shopify, which provides us with an online e-commerce platform allowing us to sell our products and services to you.


PRODUCTS & ORDERS

Due to the handmade nature of our goods, items may differ slightly from the images displayed on the website, social media, or printed materials. The Purchaser acknowledges that such slight variations are not faults of the product.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue goods without prior notice.

A sale of goods agreement is not formed until the goods have been successfully dispatched to the customer. If a genuine error in pricing occurs or additional delivery charges apply before dispatch, we reserve the right to cancel the order or offer the item at the correct price. At that point, the Purchaser may choose to proceed at the corrected price or cancel the order.

It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to ensure that the goods ordered are suitable before completing the transaction. The Company assumes no responsibility for errors made during ordering.

Certain products, services, or promotions may only be available through our website. We reserve the right to limit sales of our products or services to any individual or geographic region.


ONLINE ORDERS

Upon creating an order via our website, you will receive an email confirmation, followed by tracking information from the courier service.

Orders must be placed by 1 PM (Monday–Thursday) to qualify for next-day delivery. Orders placed after 1 PM will be dispatched the next working day.

Orders placed after 1 PM on Thursday or on weekends will be dispatched the following Monday for Tuesday delivery.

Next-day delivery is available to mainland UK addresses only (excluding Scottish Highlands or Islands, Ireland, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, or the Isle of Man). Orders placed for excluded locations will be canceled, refunded in full, and accompanied by an explanatory email.


DELIVERIES

We endeavor to dispatch and deliver orders as promised 99.9% of the time. However, external factors such as courier delays, weather, or unforeseen disruptions may occasionally impact delivery. You will be notified via email if such issues arise.

We conduct a thorough three-step quality control process to ensure our products leave the bakery in optimal condition. Tracking details are provided via email, allowing you to specify alternative delivery instructions or safe-drop locations directly with FEDEX.

It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to confirm the correct delivery date and address during checkout. Amendments can be made up until 1 PM on the shipping day. Once shipped, orders cannot be recalled or refunded.

If your delivery is delayed or items are damaged/missing, please notify us within 24 hours. Include your order number and photographs of any issues to expedite resolution.

As this is a perishable product, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds after dispatch.


DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Donut Club cannot accept responsibility for the following:

  • Late deliveries due to incorrect address details or redelivery attempts.
  • Damage caused by couriers during transit.
  • Theft of goods after the order has been marked as delivered.

The Donut Club will not accept liability for consequential losses, missed profits, or expenses resulting from delivery issues.


HOLIDAY DELIVERIES

Christmas Eve delivery orders must be placed by 1 PM on Monday, December 23rd. Orders placed afterward will be processed on Monday, December 30th, for delivery on New Year’s Eve.

Orders placed after 1 PM on December 30th will be dispatched on January 2nd, 2025, when regular service resumes.

Please note, during peak holiday periods, courier delays may occur due to high demand. While we make every effort to ensure timely deliveries, they cannot be guaranteed.


WEBSITE DISCOUNT CODES

The Donut Club reserves the right to refuse orders where discount codes are misused. We will contact customers to arrange payment of any outstanding balance before dispatching goods. Discount codes cannot be combined with other promotions.


IMAGE & CONTENT COPYRIGHT

All content, copy, and imagery remain the property of The Donut Club. Photography of bespoke designs may be used for marketing purposes.


CHANGES TO OUR TERMS

The Donut Club reserves the right to update or amend these terms at any time. It is the customer’s responsibility to review these terms periodically for updates.
